BLOG 18: WARDROBE WONDERS 

Hey, beautiful🌼, welcome back to my blog! 

    I am BACK after 2 long weeks of winter break. I'll quickly FILL you guys in about the break, then get back on track with this blog (so don't worry😁). The break was ABSOLUTELY fantastic; this is the FIRST time my family has ever tried gift exchanging, so this was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We had multiple parties, from outdoor to indoor, from BBQ style to just simply as a gathering dinner. Everything went great for us; let me know below in the comments how your break went. Now, it is BLOG time. Today's blog is going to be about the costume, the hairstyle that Gigi's (our main character if you forgot) going to wear on scene. Furthermore, I will elaborate on the intention of the outfit choices as well as how they contribute to Gigi's character. With that being said, let's JUMP to today's blog!!

     For Gigi's outfit, we decided to go for something casual but also in trend with the younger people, which is our target audience. Since we planned to film at Little Miss Cleongy's house, we wanted the outfit to somewhat MATCH the aesthetic of the room. Little Miss Cleongy's room is mainly composed of pink items; she has a bunch of posters hanging in the corner. If you were to enter the room, you could feel the early 2000s vibe lingering in her room. With an attempt to optimize the realism of the project, Little Miss Cleongy decided to wear a white tank top with a pink cropped jacket, all paired with a flair low-rise blue jean (YES!! Y2K 🔛🔝). This is our best imagination of Gigi; it might give Gigi's a UNIQUE vibe. She might come off as a bit different, rebellious, but in a sense she appeals to being a strong individual who doesn't bond to society's norms.

    Next, Gigi's hair was NOT planned; since Little Miss Cleongy hair is too short, we can't do much about it. After a short discussion, we choose to stick with Little Miss Cleongy's ICONIC hairstyle, a slicked-back claw clip hairstyle. A perfect daily choice for girls who want that effortless look😉; although this was a quick decision, there is a deeper meaning behind this selection. This hairstyle has become a common hair practice among Gen-Z so we (somewhat🤫) purposely choose this to fully achieve the viewer's sympathy for Gigi. All of these were done so the audiences can resonate with Gigi's story better.
